Today was a combination of the highest highs and the lowest lows. The best and most exciting part: I bought my wedding dress. It hasn’t fully sunk it yet, but I am absolutely in love and over the moon about it
I was lucky enough to have my mom, sister and nana there when I made the final choice. I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: If you are ever in the market for a wedding dress, GO TO HITCHED. I can’t express in words how charming of a store and amazing of a staff they have.
The second part of the day isn’t something I really want to discuss on F&F, but I will share how much of an appreciation it gave me for the amazing people in my life. Lately, it’s felt like life has been moving at lightning speed. Things have been happening so fast, and I need to remind myself to stop and see the incredible and unique things the people in my life have to offer, and how lucky I am to know them. Appreciate the small gestures, recognize the subtle genius, look for the good. It’s really incredible how long you can know someone and never truly know what makes them so special. Don’t take one day with your loved ones for granted.
After an extremely draining 24 hours, I want nothing more than to curl up on the couch with a good movie and some Shake Shack. Wedding dress diet starts tomorrow…
So if you’ll excuse me, I have to go drink some wine and eat these:
Have a wonderful Saturday night
